    FAQ's

How can I see an overview of what the Big-Hearted People Website offers?

We made it easy for you, just select Website Guide - Getting Started and Overview of Features and you can see a detailed guide which gives an explanation of the Products and Services we offer.

What is the best way to send the Premium Recognition Package to the recipient, if you mail the package to them or if it came directly from me (us)?

We can perform this service whichever way you prefer. However, it costs more to you (in time and money) if we send it to you and then you in-turn send it out again. We’re glad to do the work for you.

Should I contact the recipient or the recipients family and ask their permission to submit the Big-Hearted People Tribute Web Page publicly?

Absolutely! Prior to creating a Tribute Web Page you will need to certify that you have asked permission from the recipient or the recipient's family to post a Public Tribute.

It would be great if friends and family of the Big-Hearted People could see this special recognition and also honor them with their own tributes.

We have made it easy to do just that! Contact friends, family or anyone who you would like to see the Big-Hearted People Tribute Web Page and give them permission to upload their own tributes, photos, videos or comments.

I'm concerned that someone may try to use the information I post on your website for less than honorable purposes.

First, the Big-Hearted People Tribute Manager is the only one who can give permission to access a private Big-Hearted People Tribute Web Page. We strongly suggest that when you are given permission to post, you do not upload any personal information that the recipient would not find respectable. If you're unsure, please check with the Tribute Manager to verify the information that you're uploading is appropriate. A good rule of thumb is the "New York Times" rule, don't post anything that you wouldn't want to see on the "cover of the New York Times."

If you're posting a Public Tribute, you also have the option to list the first name of the recipient and only the initial of their last name (i.e. Mary Ann H.) to ensure anonymity.

It's important to realize that as a Tribute Manager, it is your responsibility to monitor your Tribute Web Page and that everything that's posted/uploaded meets your approval.

What if I don't want to upload a picture or video of the recipient?

Uploading pictures or videos is optional. You can just enter a comment alone if you wish.

Suppose someone adds a tribute comment, photos or videos that I don't agree with, can I delete it?

The Big-Hearted People Tribute Manager may delete comments, photos or videos at any time.

I posted a Poem and a Story to my Tribute Web Page but I do not see it displayed.

All Poems and Stories are inactive until they are activated by the Big-Hearted People Website Administrator at which time they will be displayed. Activations will be done on regular intervals.
